As required by the organization's bylaws, membership in the PTSA is open, without discrimination, to anyone who believes in and supports the mission, purpose, and principals of the PTSA. Membership is valid from the purchase date through September 30. Members who have paid dues for the current membership year shall be eligible to participate in meetings of the PTSA, or to serve in any of the elective or appointive positions.

NATIONAL PTA AND NEW YORK STATE PTA MEMBERSHIP
When you become a Pine Brook PTSA member, you are by virtue of that fact, a member of the National PTA and of the New York State PTA by which the PTSA is charted and are entitled to all benefits of such membership. As such, the majority of your PTSA membership dues goes to the National PTA ($2.25) and New York State PTA ($1.75).
